New Features & Improvements

• Introduced automatic case creation in EpiSurv from COVID-19 eNotifications

KEY POINTS TO NOTE

• Automatic processing of laboratory results starts from the eNOTIFICATIONS tab in EpiSurv.
• ENotifications with insufficient identifiable information will remain in the eNOTIFICATIONS tab for PHUs to manually process.
• Auto created cases will have addresses informed by the sending laboratory’s NHI database.
• Case transfers will not be automated: PHUS will need to continue manually cases where necessary.
• ENotifications with valid NHIs may not be attached to EpiSurv cases that have a blank or a secondary NHI number.
