Editing Custom reports
The user can edit or delete Custom reports that were created after the June 2020 EpiSurv update. Custom reports that were created before the June 2020 EpiSurv update can no longer be edited because of file compatibility. As these reports cannot be changed, the user will need to recreate the report using the custom extract tool (see the “Creating custom reports” help section for more information).
Older Custom reports (which cannot be edited) will be found in the Extracts category of the Custom reports tab search panel. The title banner of these reports will have a striped background.
More recent Custom reports will be found in the New Custom Extracts category. The tile banner of these reports will have a solid background.
By clicking the arrow button to the right of the report title, the user can edit or delete the selected report. Clicking the title banner will direct the user to generate a report instead.
Once the edit button is selected, the Editing Extract tool will open and the user can add or remove fields associated with the report as well as change the title or description etc.
Note that adding new fields to an existing report will cause the fields to reorder after saving the changes.
