What is an EpiSurv Report?
A Report is a tool which allows the user to access data from the EpiSurv database. Reports generated with EpiSurv extract data entered by PHSs. It is important to note that reports do not include written interpretation and that ESR cannot assure the quality of the raw data.
Standard reports are pre-built by ESR. Some are designed to summarise numerical data (e.g. case counts). Others are designed to assist with administrative tasks. The user can view a list of Standard reports using the ‘L002- List of Reports’ report.
Custom reports are created by EpiSurv users. These reports produce line lists of case or outbreak records and are only available to the user’s EpiSurv office. Data extracted from Custom reports can be further analysed to create data summaries beyond those available from the Standard reports.
